Portable PH meter PHB-1-S for use and maintenance
1. Remove the electrode protection cap, align with the instrument interface and gently rotate clockwise until tight (do not exert too much force). Turn on the power switch, insert the electrode into the solution under test, and the instrument shows the pH value of the solution. To lock the number, switch to lock the reading. After measuring, close the power supply, loosen the lock, remove the electrode and cover the electrode protective sleeve (the protective sleeve is equipped with potassium chloride protection solution).
2, portable PH meter PHB-1-S scale: the instrument has been calibrated when factory. If it is used for a long time and is used again and in other cases that need calibration, it shall be calibrated before measurement. For the calibration method, see "IV. Instrument Scale" in the copy.
3. When the instrument is used again after a long time, the measuring electrode glass bulb should be soaked in saturated potassium chloride solution for 1 hour. When soaking, the electrode should not be immersed in the solution too deeply (inserting 2-3 cm), and the electrode joint should not be wet.
A) The measuring electrode shall be cleaned with distilled water, and the electrode joint shall not be wet during cleaning. B) The connection section between the electrode and the instrument shall be kept highly clean and dry. Stains should be wiped clean with 99% alcohol. C) When the instrument display becomes light, please replace the battery. When installing a new battery, pay attention to the positive and negative electrodes of the electrode (red is the positive electrode).
Calibration of portable PH meter PHB-1-S (Note: round-trip calibration several times)
1. Positioning and calibration: Insert the electrode into the buffer solution of PH6.86(25℃), and adjust the positioning with a professional tool (accessory screwdriver), so that the instrument is to display the nominal PH value of the solution at the temperature at that time. (See solution packaging for pH values of scale buffer solution at different temperatures)
2. Slope calibration: Insert the electrode into a buffer solution of pH4.00 (25℃) or 9.18 (25℃) (pH4.00 is used for acid solution measurement; PH 9.18 when alkaline), adjust the slope with professional tools, so that the instrument shows the nominal pH value of the solution at the current temperature (pH value of the scale buffer solution at different temperatures see the solution packaging). Calibration is complete. In order to obtain accurate measurement results, the temperature of the measured water sample should be consistent with that of the buffer solution during calibration
